How affiliate links may work
In the future, some links may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, Your Roots Discovery may receive a commission from the provider or affiliate network. This ordinarily does not increase the price you pay, although prices and terms are always controlled by the provider.
How links will be identified
We will place a clear disclosure near affiliate recommendations or links, using language such as “affiliate link” or “we may earn a commission.” This page provides additional detail but does not replace disclosure where readers make a purchasing decision.
Editorial independence
Compensation does not guarantee a positive review or recommendation. We aim to evaluate services based on relevant considerations such as record coverage, features, ease of use, price transparency, privacy controls, and suitability for different research needs.
Participation in an affiliate program does not create an endorsement, sponsorship, agency, or official relationship between Your Roots Discovery and a provider.
